Schulte, Dorothy (Marriage - 16 Sept. 1933)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Lutheran parsonage at Unity, Wisconsin, Saturday afternoon September 16th, at 2:00 p.m. when Miss Dorothy Schulte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schulte of Colby, became the bride of Mr. Evert Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson of Spencer. Rev. J. A. Olson read the marriage ceremony. Miss Ruth Schulte acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Clayton Bowen of Withee.
The bride was attired in a becoming tan knit suit with black accessories and her corsage consisted of tea roses and mixed flowers. The bridesmaid wore a black knit suit with black accessories and her corsage also consisted of tea roses and mixed flowers.
After the wedding ceremony, a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in yellow and white and cut flowers for the occasion. A wedding dinner was served at 4:30 p.m., places being laid for fifty. A free wedding dance was given at the Oakwood pavilion in the evening.
Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Victor Johnson, Prentice; Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hendrickson, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Johnson, and son, Tomah; Mrs. John Salter and son, Victor, Pittsville.
The newlyweds will make their home on the groom’s farm west of Unity.
